The IAP2 Australasia Advanced Certificate in Engagement provides a professional development opportunity for advanced community and stakeholder engagement practitioners to deepen their knowledge and capability as an engagement leader.
Aimed at experienced engagement professionals – whether at the front-line, design and planning stages; or at the management and leadership level overseeing engagement practice – the Advanced Certificate is designed to stretch you as in individual and as a practitioner.
To complete the Advanced Certificate in Engagement participants will need to complete three advanced courses.
Right now, we have two advanced module available with an additional course to closely follow.

Pre-requisites
- Completion of the IAP2 Australasia Essentials of Engagement course, which is a part of the curriculum introduced in 2023.
- Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in leading and managing engagement projects to meet the standard requirements.
- If you meet the minimum years of experience criteria but have not completed the IAP2 Australasia Essentials of Engagement course, you will be automatically enrolled in a 2-hour self-paced preparatory course. This preparatory course must be completed before the start date of the main course.
- Participants who have previously started the IAP2 Australasia Advanced Certificate in Engagement will be able to continue with the new advanced courses.
