The Generative AI for Engagement Professionals workshop introduces stakeholder engagement professionals to the fundamentals of Generative AI, exploring its practical applications in their field of work.

This workshop uses a human-centred approach to building AI capability by introducing simple methods and ways of thinking that you can use straight away. The course explains where Generative AI fits in the broader spectrum of artificial intelligence, introducing and explaining key terminology and connecting this specifically to engagement practice. You will be guided through ‘hands-on’ learning experiences using a commonly available free GPT to explore how Generative AI can enhance your practice. Through these activities, you will be encouraged to apply what you’re learning to a current ‘real-world’ work task, as well as explore fictional examples relevant to the Australasian engagement environment.

Learning how to navigate this technology will help you steer more confidently as it integrates into computer and internet applications.
