IAP2 Australasia Community and Stakeholder Engagement Leaders Retreat:
Shaping the future for inclusive and accessible engagement

Welcome to the 2023 IAP2 Australasia Community and Stakeholder Engagement Leaders Retreat in Uluru!

This unique retreat is designed for senior leaders who are committed to advancing the practice of community and stakeholder engagement in the public and private sectors. With capped attendance numbers, this retreat offers a unique opportunity for a select group of leaders to come together, share their experiences and insights, and learn from one another in a personalised and intimate setting of Uluru as our inspiration. As senior leaders, you are constantly faced with new challenges and opportunities, and it can be challenging to find the time and space to think deeply about the issues that matter most.

Over the course of three days, attendees will participate in engaging discussions, practical workshops, and networking opportunities with like-minded peers. The retreat’s focus is on empowering senior leaders to develop and implement effective engagement strategies that create positive outcomes for their organisations, stakeholders, and communities. This is a great opportunity to address some of the complex challenges of our time, enriching your leadership of engagement, and influencing engagement outcomes.

At the heart of the retreat is the belief that effective engagement leads to better decision-making and more meaningful outcomes for communities and organisations.  By coming together to share insights, experiences, and best practices, senior leaders can drive positive change and create a more participatory and democratic future. Throughout the retreat, we will explore the themes of connection, collaboration, inclusivity and cultural understanding and examine the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for us as leaders.

But this retreat is not just about work – it’s also about taking a step back, reconnecting with yourself and with nature, and finding inspiration in the beauty of this incredible place. Whether you’re walking in the desert, watching the sunrise over Uluru or sharing stories, we believe that you will find this experience to be transformative and rejuvenating.

Register today and become part of a dynamic and engaged community of senior leaders dedicated to advancing the practice of community and stakeholder engagement in Australasia and beyond.  We hope to have you be part of this exclusive journey, and we look forward to exploring the possibilities with you.
