Alix is an expert consultant working with The Social Deck, where she supports planning and delivery of community engagement, conducts data analysis and reporting, oversees accessible and inclusive practice as Inclusion Officer. She is passionate about equitable and inclusive engagement and communication, and stays current in accepted best practice while continuing to assess practical and tailored application. With Bachelors in Law and Communications, Alix has had a varied career including coordinating parliamentary education, supporting youth programs, delivering grassroots engagement within the 2016 Clinton presidential campaign, and working with marginalised, under-resourced school communities as part of Teach for America. Alix is proudly autistic. Like many autistic women, she was undiagnosed until her 30s, and now advocates for better awareness of neurodiversity.
