IAP2 Australasia welcomes new CEO, Marion Short
The International Association for Public Participation (IAP2), Australasia’s leading public participation member association, is excited to announce the appointment of Marion Short as its new CEO.
Marion joins IAP2 Australasia as an experienced CEO in the not-for-profit sector with a strong background in relationship building, stakeholder management and business improvement initiatives. Marion lives in Brisbane, Australia but spent many years living in Auckland, New Zealand where she led varied organisations from a youth charity to a waste and recovery membership organisation.
Welcoming Marion’s appointment, IAP2 Australasia Chair Leanne Hartill said, “Marion brings excellent relationship building skills and a great capacity for strategic development. Her experience with developing membership offerings will be of great value to IAP2 Australasia”.
Leanne Hartill would also like to thank Nunzio Giunta on behalf of the Board for providing invaluable interim CEO support to the team during the last four months.
