Be seen. Be heard. Be recognised.

Be seen. Be Heard, Be Recognised. In addition to your professional development with IAP2, branding is a very large part your IAP2 membership journey whether it be as an individual or an organisation, there’s a benefit for all.

An individual’s personal brand development is a core element of our membership offering for all practice professionals from students to emerging and experienced experts. It is important for our members to play an active role in their professional development, develop active networks and participate in peer-to-peer conversations as well as volunteer for working groups for career development, gain knowledge, offer expertise and mentor others within the industry. Ways you can participate including joining your local network; we have 14 currently across Australasia. If there is not one in your area, why not consider starting one up? Contact Nichola at nichola@iap2.org.au to learn how easy it is.

If you are a young or emerging professional, we have an active group who meet monthly via teleconferencing and will soon commence face to face networking. Our Ambassador program is evolving and we are very fortunate to have individuals who can represent IAP2 internally and externally as guest speakers and advisors. We have numerous volunteer working groups where you have the opportunity of giving back to the practice; keep an eye out for our EOI for the Research Working Group to develop our upcoming member survey. We would love to see you at our Australasia Conference in October at the Gold Coast particularly to network, educate and participate as well as celebrate our Core Values Awards – come and say hello at our member stand. We also have some exciting global projects underway and we will keep you updated with their progress as we aim to grow the practice across the globe.

From an organisational perspective, professional brand is vital in securing trust and reputation with employees and customers alike. Being seen in the global landscape to support and utilise IAP2’s Core Values, Code of Ethics, Spectrum and the Quality Assurance Standard which establishes best practice within your organisation. Supporting your employees in their personal professional development also can improve organisational expertise, culture and ultimately attraction and retention as an employer of choice in the industry.

IAP2 Australasia membership is the start of your journey to build trust, build reputation, build knowledge, build networks and build brand, both as an individual or as an organisation. Please join us in pledging support for the International Year of Engagement and make sure you check out our social sites: LinkedInFacebook and Twitter.

We are looking forward to building the practice of the future with you.
