Exploring inclusive engagement with our Canberra Local Area Network

Around 60 engagement practitioners gathered for the most recent IAP2A Canberra Local Network Event on Thursday, 18 May 2023. It was a fantastic evening exploring inclusive engagement across the community.

The event was proudly supported by Communication Link as part of their 25th Anniversary celebrations.

Guest speakers Diana Rahman OAM, Jaimie Vincent and Susan Helyar provided insightful perspectives on inclusive engagement. Sharing their personal stories about their communities and key insights from their experience engaging with diverse communities across Canberra. Conversation focused on a range of things to consider including building trust and genuine relationships, understanding the needs of those you are engaging with and privileging those who are most impacted.
