Your Opportunity to be involved in Open Government

Australia recently signed the International Open Government Partnership (OGP). The Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet has invited IAP2 to provide input into the first National Action Plan, to go through Cabinet in July.

This is a fantastic opportunity for engagement professionals to have an input into the ways Australian citizens will be able to engage with the Australian Government.

The National Action Plan is being drafted Live on this wiki where you can suggest actions and view others suggestions. A few IAP2 members have already provided suggestions, and Amelia Loye from engage2 is helping PM&C engage with civil society.

Amelia has offered to work with IAP2 to develop our submission and workshop public participation actions suggested. If this is of interest, please complete this survey before 10th March so we can plan an event that suits your needs.
