Social Pinpoint (SPP) held another successful pop-up networking event on Tuesday, 18 March, this time in the City of Geelong. With support from IAP2A, City of Greater Geelong Council and Barwon Water, 34 attendees spent the morning with SPP at the beautiful Geelong Library and Heritage Centre.
Covering the topic of Trends in Community Engagement for 2025, Andrew Coulson – Head of Practice (Social Pinpoint) delivered a presentation on what to look out for. Followed by a panel discussion on some of the hotter topics led by Valerie Hastings, Team Leader Customer Success (Social Pinpoint). On the panel were Erin McHugh (City of Greater Geelong), Jacqui Thebes (Barwon Water) and Michelle Weston (Michelle Weston Consulting) who contributed thoughtful and inspiring answers to some of the set and audience questions.
Andrew Coulson said, “It was great to spend the day in Geelong with the local IAP2 network and local community engagement practitioners. With attendees travelling from as far as Melbourne, we enjoy hosting these pop-ups with IAP2’s help and getting to talk about different themes bubbling in the community engagement practice with those that are doing it first-hand.”
Social Pinpoint’s next pop-up event will take place on the 16th of April, in Hobart. If you are in the area, and would like to attend this event, you can register here.
