Open Government Plan New Zealand Action Plan Released

The engage2 team is pleased to share the news that the New Zealand’s second Open Government Action Plan has been published on a new website dedicated to ogpnz here. 

It is great to see that the plan has been developed around the themes that came through from the engagement process and co-creation workshop. The range of Open Government values are covered, with each commitment having clear milestones. 

engage2 is proud to have been involved with the development of the plan and it has been a true privilege to have worked with you, and the State Services Commission and other NZ Government agencies during the process. We would like to recognise and thank everyone who provided input and those of you who continue to support the delivery of open government initiatives inside and outside of Government in New Zealand. 

As outlined in previous communication with you, we will now pass people’s contact details on to the State Services Commission so that they can keep you informed about actions, how they are being delivered and opportunities to get involved. 

We hope that you will continue to be involved and encourage others in your communities to also get involved. It would be great to see awareness of Open Government grow within Aotearoa New Zealand leading to a wide range of people participating in the development of the next plan.
