Engagement Techniques and Wine in Auckland
Twenty people braved the wet Auckland weather to join us at our latest network session, kindly hosted by Julie Boucher from Just Add Lime. We had an informal attempt at a few techniques including 35s; using a wall spectrum and engaging with visual experiences. People also got chance to interact with some questions on the wall to tell us what they would like from the network going forwards. Oh, and there was some wine tasting, which was jolly good fun!
Our next session is a lunchtime event on Thursday 29 September (12pm – 1pm) in the Council Chamber at Auckland Town Hall. We will hear from Carol Hayward and Joe Macdonald about engaging with the transgender community to gain a greater understanding of the health needs and aspirations of their community in Auckland and beyond.
