Best Practice Code for Engagement with Not-For-Profits Released

It is exciting to see the Federal Government seeking input on Engagement with Not-for-Profits. If you work or volunteer in this space, we encourage you to make a submission towards this Code encouraging an IAP2 Spectrum approach!

‘Engaging today for a better tomorrow’

A draft version of the Best Practice Code for Engagement with Not-for-Profits was released March 18. The Minister for Social Inclusion, Mark Butler, says the Code will be a would be a ‘practical reference tool’ for Not-for-Profit organisations and the Government when engaging on issues of public concern.

890 NFPs have already been involved in dialogue with the Government to produce the draft code and the Minister, Mr Butler encourages organisations wishing to join at www.notforprofit.gov.au.
