An Update from IAP2 Australasia

On the 8th February the IAP2 Australasia Committee met in Sydney and officially appointed Leanne Hartill as the new Vice President.

Lucy Cole-Edelstein, who has held this position for the past four years, has stepped down due to personal reasons. Lucy has been with IAP2 Australasia from the beginning and was a part of the original committee. Over the past four years she has been our representative to the International Federation and has been instrumental in seeing a number of projects completed to the benefit of our Affiliate. The Committee wishes Lucy every success as she focuses on ‘Straight Talk’ and we would like to publicly acknowledge the many, many hours she has voluntarily committed to IAP2 Australasia.

Leanne Hartill has been on the IAP2 Australasia Committee since October 2011 and is convenor of the Training Sub-Committee and a member of the Membership and Communications Sub-Committee. Leanne will represent IAP2 Australasia on the International Board and has already begun working on a number of key projects with the Federation.

IAP2 Australasia also welcomes JoAnn Marsh who joins our team as the new Training Support Coordinator and Cristina Sacco as the new Membership and Communications Coordinator. Nichola Charman is now our Regional Events Coordinator working with our Regional Coordinators to see events and opportunities for networking made available around our regions. We are excited to have already seen events in Canberra, the Gold Coast and Auckland and look forward to more events coming soon in regional centres as well as our capital cities.

Regards
Carla Leversedge
President
