2019 Call for Director Nominations
IAP2 International and IAP2 Australasia
The International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) is a global organisation which seeks to promote and improve the practice of public participation or community and stakeholder engagement, incorporating individuals, governments, institutions and other entities that affect the public interest throughout the world.
We are opening up the call for Director Nominations for both IAP2 International and IAP2 Australasia.
Please note: You cannot serve on both IAP2 International and IAP2 Australasia boards, therefore you can only nominate as a candidate for one.
Nominating as a candidate for IAP2 Australasia
IAP2 Australasia is your peak body for engagement, leading community and stakeholder engagement excellence across Australia and New Zealand. Our mission is “to advance the practice of community and stakeholder engagement through education, advocacy and building relationships”.
At the 2019 Annual General Meeting, three director positions will become vacant for IAP2 Australasia. Nominations are invited from eligible candidates to stand for election to the IAP2 Australasia Board of Directors for a three-year term.

Nominating as a candidate for IAP2 International
The international change initiative sees the appointment of an inaugural board for the new IAP2 International which shall consist of nine Directors with staggered terms. There are two director positions becoming vacant for Australasia voting members, these will be appointed 1 January 2020.

This event will be facilitated by our Returning Officer – Nunzio Giunta, Chief Executive Officer – Marion Short and attended by directors representing both IAP2 Austr. And IAP2 International.

Voting
Members eligible to vote will receive an email on 2 September 2019 providing instructions on how to vote with polling set to open on 9 September 2019 at 10:00am AEST, and to close on 23 September 2019, 8:00 pm AEST. The member roll will close on 9 August 2019 5.00pm AEST.
